Week 42 at Less is More and the theme is Silhouettes. For my first card I've cut the three reindeer from the Cricut Christmas Cheer cartridge. The greeting is computer generated and the lines are Papermania glitter stickers. There are tiny red gems on the noses of the reindeer but you have to look closely.
My second card is another reindeer - this year Dasher by Stampin Up. Stamped in black ink and embossed then matted onto black card. Another computer generated greeting and finished off with some Diamond Dust. This is my second attempt at this card. The first one I did some pricking in the top corners before adding the glitter but it was too much so I had another go and definitely think it looks better - less is more after all!
My third card is not really an entry as it doesn't fit the definition of the a silhouette but it was inspired by the challenge. It's an American stamp which is stamped and embossed in black on yellow/gold card and layered on black card. The greeting is by Wild Rose Sudio from the Girly Greetings set

Less Is More Leaves Take 3
No computer used for my third entry to the Less Is More Leaves challenge. For this one I have used a mask to emboss the holly leaf frame. The greeting is from Stampin Up's Delightful Dozen set and the card is finished with some ribbon.

Less Is More Leaves Take 2
Another computer generated card. I found the sentiment in a book and wanted to make a card to suit it for the Less Is More LEAVES challenge. I've drawn the flower in Word using the autoshapes line tool and filled it with a picture of leaves. I added a small circle to the flower centre and filled with the same leaf picture but lightened it slighty. I was really pleased with this as it shows what you can do in basic programmes such as Word and that you don't need expensive software to design cards

Less Is More Week 41
I was so pleased when I saw the Less Is More challenge this week. I've been struggling to come up with a leaving card I've been asked to make - "non fussy" for someone who likes nature. The theme this week is LEAVES and it must be a one layer card. Perfect. The font is called A Yummy Apology but I'm not sure where it's from. I've added a shadow to the sentiment and to the leafy corner. A little bit corny but I was pleased with the result.
In response to Chrissie - yes, the leaves are computer generated

Cutie Pie Challenge #4
This is my entry for the 4th Cutie Pie challenge. The challenge this time was to use a charm. I started with an image I found in my toppers drawer but I've no idea where it came from. The butterflies are a Stampin Up embosslit die. The backing paper is from an old set by Papermania and the charm is from my stash.
Less Is More - Fireworks Take 2
This is my second entry for the Less Is More Fireworks challenge. I started when I found the ribbon in my stash and found some card to match. The butterflies are from Stampin Up's Beautiful Wings embosslit and the sentiment is from Thank You Kindly.
Less Is More Week 40 - Fireworks
It's a Colour challenge this week at Less Is More and they have chosen
Red and Orange to reflect fireworks. For my cards I have chosen the obvious leaves as I wanted to use my new Tim Holtz decorative strip called Fall Garland. I've roughly inked an A4 sheet of paper with various Distress inks and cut the leaves randomly. The sentiment is from a set called Autumn Harvest by The Paper Company and is stamped with Desert Sand Kaleidacolor ink pad.

Peas
This is a card I've made for a friends son - he's 32 but loves aliens so it should be ok. The image is by Spyder and I think it's suitable for any age. Coloured with Promarkers. If you don't know about Spyders wonderful images, pop over to her store and have a look around. I'd also advise you to follow her other blog - Spyders Corner - as she kindly gives away freebies most weeks.
