Lucy Cromwell Thank You Cards

I've used the sketch at Fetch a Sketch for these cards
They are made from the Lucy Cromwell Ultimate kit. I needed a quick thank you card and these toppers are so sweet so I've mixed two of them so the centre piece stands out more and it's always good to have a spare one. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Banners by Stampin Up cut with the matching die - a great little set. A couple of fabric flowers and a die cut swirl to finish

Seeing Stars

Stars are the theme of this weeks Cuttlebug Spot challenge and I thought I'd used one of the bargains I got at the Range yesterday. This paper pack was reduced to just £1

Yes, I know the Jubilee and the Olympics are history now but all the papers in the pack are double sided and all that have flags and crowns etc have usable designs on the reverse so I'm well pleased with it. I've picked two of the papers and layered them on the card. The stars are cut from Spellbinders Presto Punch dies. Now I don't have a Presto Punch thingy but the dies work perfectly well in the Cuttlebug. The greeting is from Stampin Up'sSprinkled Expressions set and cut with the new ticket punch. The layout is from this weeks Fetch A Sketch challenge

Pink & Purple Recycled card

The pink stripped backing for this card was some packaging of two very cute owl handwarmers that I got in Sainsbury's for £2. I've already used the acetate from the packet to make some flowers and when I needed a quick card, this was on my desk. Normally when I save things like this they never get used but it saves cutting into some designer paper :) The image is a Forever Friends sticker which is always useful for a quick card and the ribbon is of course recycled from a top.The greeing is from  Personal Impressions set cut with a Stampin Up punch The border strip is by Fiskars. I've used the current Fetch a Sketch design for this card

I'm also entering it into the Forever Friends monthly challenge

Fetch A Sketch Challenge 40

I'm supposed to be making a Birthday card but I'm struggling with it so I've put it to one side for now and had a go at the Fetch A Sketch Challenge 40
I've turned the sketch to make a landscape card using a pearlescent green card base. The stamp I've used is XO Heart by Hero Arts which I've stamped with Versamark on pearlescent green card and embossed in Silver Metal Magic. I've not used this embossing powder before and I really like the effect. The backing paper is new from Papermania Vintage Notes linen paper stack which has a lovely texture to it which shows in the picture. A strip of the base card with a silver ribbon across the middle and I've got another card for the animal charity shop.
