The challenge at Eclectic Ellapu this week is to make a card using primary colours and jigsaw pieces to celebrate Autism Awareness Month. I used to work at a Mencap youth club on Saturdays and we had some very special people who thoroughly enjoyed having their own club and meeting their friends. We used to take them into town or the old zoo on Southampton common during the day and in the evening we had great discos. It was such a shame when it was closed down to make way for flats.
For my card I've used Craft Artist and imported the Claude image from Polka Doodles Pretty Tuff CD. Th paper is from a CAP digikit. The jigsaw pieces were imported into the software as shapes and made into a punch. I really like this software but don't use it nearly enough.

Happy Birthday
This is another Kanban card and although they've gone out of business, I've got enough to last me for years. I loved this topper and didn't want any patterned papers to take away from it so I've used some pink, purple and green Pan Pastels on the base card. The silver gilding doesn't show up very well but it is beautiful in the flesh - this was the only half decent picture I could get without too much reflection. A simple ribbon from my stash to finish.
I'm entering this into the following challenges:
Eclectic Ellapu - Birthday
Pan Pastels - Girly Theme
That Craft Place - Anything Goes

Can Men Cook?
Well mine can and he does most of the cooking at home so this card certainly isn't for him. The challenge at Eclectic Ellapu is Masculine. My topper and sentiment came from a Kanban kit and although I love it, I wasn't sure on a backing paper and then I came across this sheet from a DCWV stack called Nana's Kitchen. A little sticky, glittery ribbon to finish and another card for the animal shelter to sell.
