It's time for a new challenge here at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week our theme is "T is for ....."
My T is quite obvious and I've used the ties from the Stampin Up set Best Dad Ever stamping onto some offcuts of blue paper. The sentiment is from a Taylored Expressions set called Punny Man.
I'm also taking this over to the Snippets Playground and to the Less Is More challenge which is Snippets and where the lovely Di is so appropriately the guest designer - well done Miss x
We'd love to see what your T stands for but don't forget to make your card suitable for a male

T Is For Talisman at The Butterfly Challenge
The current theme at The Butterfly Challenge is T is for Talisman. This is a very sad card for me as it's for the lovely couple that run my local craft shop in Ringwood, Tulip Crafts, as they are closing down at the end of this week. I'm so going to miss them both and the Wednesday craft classes. I wasn't sure whether to make a sorry you're leaving card but thought a good luck card was more positive as they move on to pastures new. The hanging butterfly charm is from a pair of earings but thought it would make a perfect talisman. The letters are cut from funky foam and I've heated and stamped into some of the letters to give them texture

Christmas In July at Cardz 4 Guyz
It's Tuesday so time for a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week our theme is Christmas in July. I've gone CAS again and used a new die by Sue Wilson. It's cut out of mirri card and layered it onto white card embossed with a dotty folder
We'd love to see what you come up with but please remember to make your creation suitable for a male of any age
Goodbye at Cuttlebug Mania
It's time for our last challenge before our summer break at Cuttlebug Mania so our theme is Goodbye. I've gone for a Bon Voyage card. The tag is from an XCut die set called Luggage Tags and the background is embossed with a folder from the Cuttlebug Skyward set. An offcut strip of the same blue card and "Card Candi" to finish
We'd love you to join us with our Goodbye challenge but please remember to let us know how you've used you're manual die cutting machine

We've a new challenge for you at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week our theme is No Designer Paper Allowed. This may seem frightening at first but there are lost of options - embossed, inked or stencilled backgrounds, die cuts or just plain clean and simple
I spent last weekend in Southampton helping my cousin move into his new maisonette and trying to get him sorted. It's his first real home of his own so quite an adventure for him even though he is nearly 40! It's a lovely ground floor place with a garden for his cat and dog who seem to have settled in quite well although Arnie the cat hides if anyone comes in or if there are any loud noises but I'm sure he'll be fine once he's allowed out
This is the card I made him using Craft Artist and the Born To Shop Pets digikit. I've printed it off and layered it onto matching card and decoupaged the cat and dog. It doesn't show but I've added Glossy Accents to the dogs nose.
We'd love to see what you come up with for this challenge

Gems at The Butterfly Challenge
The current theme at The Butterfly Challenge is Gems. For my card I've used a Sizzix Stamp and Die set. There's lots of bling on my card but it's hard to photograph it. The background is made using splatters of shimmer mists (thanks Kate). The butterfly is stamped on the card base with perlescent ink and then again on a snippet of perlescent vellum and of course the gems on the butterfly and in the corner. The sentiment is by My Favourite Things
I'm also entering this into the Snippets Playground

Sparkles Christmas Challenge - Use Ribbon or Twine
Our new challenge at Sparkles Christmas Challenge is to use ribbon or twine
Our wonderful sponsor this month is...
I've recently had a fantastic week with some wonderful friends. It was such a relaxing break with a beauty therapist coming to our cottage for facials and massages and we also had a hot tub this year which was great fun. We did manage a little crafting too and this is one of the cards I made
A Lili Of The Valley image from their Furry Christmas art pad (thanks Jackie), a frame, backing paper and sentiment by Hunkydory (thanks Cally) and some ribbon for a very quick card
