Heidi by Victoria Case

I've seen lots of cards using the Heidi digi image by Victoria Case. They are all wonderful but way out of my capabilities. Then I found a tutorial by Meesh and this is the result:

I didn't have the right greys so her hair is like a little old lady but I was quite pleased with the overall result and can see lots of things to be done better. I'm going to have another play while watching Tim on QVC today.

Sketch n Stash Challenge 55

This is my entry into the Sketch n Stash challenge 55. I've also entered it into the Crafters Reunited February Inspirationals. The Crafters Reunited challenge was to use a CD. I've not used any of mine for ages so this fitted both challenges well.

I've used Joanna Sheen's Ivory Cats CD. I'd forgotten what beautiful images there are on this set. I've printed the background in two sizes. Matted the smaller one on some coredinations punched with Martha Stewarts Doily Lace and finished with a Joys butterfly die and some gems

Darkroom Door Valentines

I know I'm a bit late showing this but it was a last minute make for OH and I had to pinch it back to take the photograph. I love this Darkroom Door set - Prague Vol 1. I wanted to show OH that I get value out of my stamps so I used it for his Birthday and Christmas cards last year.

For this card I cut the aperture with a Nestie. The image was stamped on the base card and the aperture laid on top with foam pads. The hearts are punched with the Stampin Up Heart to Heart punch

Just need to do an anniversary card in June and he'll have a full set.

Sketch n Stash Challenge 54

I saw this challenge on Jackie's blog so thought I'd have a go.

The image is from Woodware's Don't Be Blue set (which sees it's first use since being bought) coloured with Promarkers. Papers are My Mind's Eye (a freebie with Cardmaking and Papercraft last year). Finished with Spellbinders Lotus pendant die and a Sizzlit corner die

My New Craft Room

Millie has had fun trying to find her favorite place in my new craft room. Needless to say it wasn't where it was supposed to be:

First she tried sitting by my Cricut

then at the window almost sitting on the card I was making

 then onto my stoage desk

then onto the pull out desk I use for my laptop

and finally onto my lap

and all the time her basket stays empty

Cheeky - I don't think so!

I made this card for a friends special birthday. She did say that one of the cards she received was cheeky - I can't believe that she was referring to this one:

The image is a Dolly Mama clear set by Stamps Happen coloured with Promarkers. I've had this for yonks and nots used it but thought it was perfect for this card. Paper is from a Papermania Born To Shop stack
