Still Feeling Fruity for Less Is More

We've just heard from the vet and Millie is doing well although still critical. Hopefully we'll be able to see her tomorrow.

So I've been sat in my craft room and I've done another card for the Less Is More Feeling Fruity challenge. Only a small cherry on this one but I thought the yellow of the cup cake was a fruity colour. Th cupcake and cherry are a Marianne die layered on Nesties and the greeing is from a free mini set that came with the Docrafts Creativity magazine a while ago.

Less Is More Week 26 - Feeling Fruity

Still waiting news from the vet so keeping busy in the craft room. It's Lucky Dip week over at Less Is More and the challenge this week is Feeling Fruity. These cards were made using a Perfectly Clear set called Little Fruit.

I couldn't find the right colour Promarker to colour the Melons with so I used one of the reds and then went over it with the blender pen which I think gave the right texture to it. You can just about see the four embossed lines on this one

The next card uses the greeting from the same set but the strawberry was a free gift with Craft Stamper some time ago. It's cut out and shaped and layered on Nellie's Eastern Rounds die cuts. The corners are pricked using the Stampin Up paper prircing mat

On the third card I've used the cherries coloured with Promarkers and the cherries are covered in glossy accents which have made them go brighter. Annoying really as I spent ages matching the card colour to the Promarkers! Layered onto nesties and embossed with a larger size ouside the red card which you can just about see

Sketch N Stash 66

I need to keep occupied today as I'm waiting news from the vet on Millie. I've been sorting things out in the craft room and not getting very far when I remembered that I haven't entered the Sketch n Stash challenge. I looked at the sketch and found an image already coloured so used this with some old Papermania papers. The flowers were from Hobbycraft and the greeting is by Craftwork Cards. It had to be a quick card as when I first looked it said the challenge ends in 1hr 14 mins. By the skin of my teeth I think which is better than last time!

Less Is More Circles Take 3

This is my third entry for week 24 at Less Is More. I've taken a strip of Rich Razzleberry card stock. I've stamped some circles from the Stampin Up Seeing Spots set and stamped them with Rich Razzleberry  ink onto Pretty In Pink cardstock and cut them out. They are then stuck onto the Rich Razzleberry  card and the whole strip is embossed with the Cuttlebug tiny bubbles folder which embeds the circles into the card. The sentiment is from a Personal Impressions set stamped in Rich Razzleberry.

Birthday Card For OH

As I spent the day in my craft room, decided I'd get on with OH's birthday card for the beginning of August. I've used The Great Outdoors stamp set by Little Claire all coloured with Promarkers. The map is a very small piece of a 49p map I bought in a charity shop. I distressed it with Tea Dye, screwed up and then highlighted the creases with walnut stain. The grass is cut using a Martha Stewart punch

Less Is More Circles Take Two

Another entry for the Less Is More circles challenge. I've used the Big and Juicy waterfall inkpad to ink the Whimsy Stampin Up wheel across the card. The sentiment is from a Personal Impressionsset inked with the same pad. A few gems to finish. Another one for my cards for the troops box.

Birthday Card For B-I-L - not!

It's my brother in laws Birthday this week and I said to OH, how about a motorbike theme? Fine says he.SO I've made this card using the Stampin Up motorbike stamp the colour added with a Promarker. The grey strip is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder and sanded. The cogs are Spellbinders Sprightly Sprockets lightly sanded and a Personal Impressions greeting added. I didn't have the right colour blue card to mat the image and embossed part on so just cut out of white and cloured with the same Promarker.

I've just showed it to OH and he said "Graham doesn't like motorbikes"! It'll be a Kanban card for him then :)

Sketch N Stash Challenge 65

This is my entry for the Sketch N Stash Challenge 65. The image and sentiment is by Bugaboo - I love these digi's and I know the recipient has a sense of humour. It is coloured with Promarkers and I've giver her a "purple" rinse so it will also fit with this month's Inspirational challenge at Crafters Reunited. The papers are by Papermania - the amethyst creative tones collection. I bought this set in several colours years ago and rarely use them but they are great for matching papers. I've turned the sketch as I think the sentiment looks better that way.

Less Is More Week 24 - Circles

This weeks theme at Less Is More is Circles. I just love this nostalgia stamp by Papermania and very rarely colour it. Stamped with vintage sepia on a cream base, it is simply cut with a Nestie and matted on coredinations that I cut out from the outside of the largest Nestie shape. The greeting is from the Curly Cute set by Stampin Up. The bubbles outside the image were done with the end of my X-cut knife (not the pointed end!).

Less Is More Week 23 "Legs"

Week 23 at Less Is More is a one layer card and the theme is "something with legs". I did think of doing a tree as my legs are like the trunks of a 1000year old oak tree but I don't think they would accept that!

So I've gone with table legs. The stamps are from Scene in a Garden by Stampin Up and are stamped in Versafine Vintage Sepia. The border is a rollograph wheel called Garlic and Onions and the greeting is from a Woodware set that I can't remember the name of! Looking at ot now, I think the pots and pumpkins could have been a little closer but hey ho.

I'm also entering this into the July Inspirationals at Crafters Reunited the theme of which is Mono Colour.

Less Is More Week 22 Take 2

This is my second attempt at the Less Is More challenge "Shades Of Blue". The greeting is computer generated again. The image is a digi but I can't remember where it's from. He is coloured with promarkers and cut out and shaped. Both these cards will go for my troops box

Less Is More Week 22

The theme for this weeks Less Is More is Shades of Blue. For this card I've punched some hearts from blue Coredinations with the Stampin Up large heart punch. The greeting is printed on the computer and the corners are pierced

Sketch N Stash 64

I couldn't decide what to do for my cousins birthday card so I used the Sketch N Stash challenge to help me along. The image is a Wild Rose Studio stamp as are the papers which I've had for ages. Stampin Up punches for the greeting

Less Is More Week 21 Take 2

As I had to make a Birthday card I thought I'd give the Less Is More sketch another go. I've used the Stampin Up owl punch with some scraps of card and paper. The branch is cut freehand and the greeting is from Owl Greetings by Woodware

Less Is More Week 21

It's a sketch for week 21 over at Less Is More  and this is my entry. The cat stamps are by Clearly Yours (I think) stamped with versafine and mounted onto mirri card. The card blank and strip of dark card are punched with an EK Success border punch and the sentiment is from a Kanban set.
