Trooping The Colour at Polka Doodles

I wasn't at all sure about the colours on this card but hey ho. The stamp is Fergus with Poppies by Wild Rose Studio coloured with Promarkers. The backing paper is by Wild Rose Studio too. The flowers are made with a Nellie Snellen punches which also emboss.

A bit of a rush card and I think I've just sneaked in for the Polka Doodles challenge deadline.

  1. I quite like these colours together actually. The card has a lovely feel to it and the three flowers in the corner draw the image and paper together nicely!

  4. Just stopped by to say thanks for entering the Polka Doodles challenge and for leaving such a kind comment on my FP attempts!

Liz is one hugely talented lady and I felt very privileged to be able to attend her class. If you get the chance you really should attend one, as she is just so inspirational and patient!

Anyway, your card is stunning - just love the colour combination! Good luck.

  5. Hi Hun

Only me (again)!! You asked about the Freezer Paper technique. I tried to reply via email but your addy doesn't come up, so I hope you don't mind me posting a link to the post that has a link to the technique? http://whatshallimaketoday.blogspot.co.uk/2012/05/vintage-card-and-freezer-paper.html

If you have any other questions, please feel free to email me (my addy is on my profile).

If you do trial it and make anything, please do let me know so I can come and have look at what you've made.
