Cardz 4 Guyz Little Boy Blue

Time for our next challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz and our theme this week is Little Boy Blue. I didn't want to go with the obvious baby card so I've gone for a card for a young boy in blue. The backing paper is from an A4 pad I got in Lidl - it's always worth a look if your passing. The robot image is one I had downloaded ages ago without noting where from. I've decoupaged his body and head and added gglossy accents and google eyes. The SON is made from air dry clay and the sentiment is by Craftwork Cards

We'd love to see what you come up with but please remember to make your creation suitable for a male however old

Oriental at Cardz 4 Guyz

We've got a new challenge for you at Cardz 4 Guyz and I must admit I found this a real challenge. After racking my brain I eventually remembered I have the Joanna Sheen Oriental Dreams CD so I had a look on there and decided on this image. I thought it would make a good sympathy card for a man so I've kept it quite simple with a few Memory Box bird dies and a Marianne Desigh flourish, all cut from silver mirror card. The image is matted on silver mirror too although the flash has given it a golden glow

I think the other design team members have done a lot better than I have so please pop over to see their creations

Cuttlebug Mania Down By The Sea

Time for a new challenge at Cuttlebug Mania and this time our theme is Down By the Sea. We're sponsored this time by the wonderful Kenny K Downloads

For my card I'v gone into the sea rather than by it and used the Stampin Up By The Tide stamp set and Ryn's Water Droplets which I was lucky enough to win at Pixie's Snippets Playground quite a while ago. I've just used Tea Dye and Tumbled Glass distress inks to colour it. The shells are cut with Marianne Design dies from snippets of card from my box so I'm taking this to show at the playground

We'd love to see what you come up with for this theme but please let us know how you've used your manual die cutting machine when making your creation

Spring Is On It's Way

We've had a couple of real spring like days recently and we've had a daffodil in flower since the first days of January so I'm sure it won't be long before spring proper is here. I found this Martha Stewart Spring punch in a charity shop in Christchurch for £1.50 last week so I thought I'd have a play. R Is For Ribbon is the current theme at The Butterfly Challenge and as the punch has a couple of butterflies it seemed perfect. I've wrapped the top of the green card with yellow ribbon which has white butterflies printed on it. The three butterflies at the top are my new Robert Adams dies as are the butterfly corners (I didn't realise they were butterflies on the corner die until I cut it out!). Stampin Up stamp and punches for the sentiment

Puppy Love at Cardz 4 Guyz

Time for a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week our theme is Puppy Love. Now, if you're of an age, this might remind you of Donny Osmond so you could show young love on your creation or go for the more obvious like I have done

V is For Valentine

The current theme at The Butterfly Challenge is V Is For Valentine.  I'm combining it with the Less Is More Little Ones challenge and Pixie's Snippets Playground

I have had this Penny Black stamp for years and I love it and thought it would be perfect for the Little Ones challenge it wasn't quite what I wanted

So I used Craft Artist to place the words and printed it off and then die cut some tiny butterflies with my Butterfly Frenzy Sizzlit die from my postman's letter again

I'm also entering this into the Hugs & Kisses challenge at Addicted to CAS (thanks Bonnie)

Kick Back and Relax at Cardz 4 Guyz

Our new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz is Kick Back & Relax. It's a long time since I inked this stamp by Stamp Addicts. It's called Sunday Afternoon and I've stamped it in Versafine and embossed with clear powder before colouring the background with Pan Pastels. The sentiment is by Stampin Up from the Occasions Alphabet set

We'd love to see what you come up with for this challenge but please make sure you creation is suitable for a male, however old

Cuttlebug Mania I {heart} You

Time for a new challenge at Cuttlebug Mania and as we're into February we had to have a love theme. I've used my new stamp and dies by Taylored Expressions for the sentiment and light bulb. The  yellow card is from my snippets folder so I'm taking this over to Pixie's Snippets Playground. I didn't have any red snippets but then I remembered I had one of those love letters the postman leaves you so cut a piece from that

This is the first week that our new team members are posting their cards so please pop over to see all their creations. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge
