Transport at Cardz 4 Guyz

It's Tuesday and time for another challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz and it's my turn to choose the theme and I've gone for Transport. I'm sticking with our theme of CAS from last week to for my card and using Chrissie's card at Less Is More as my inspiration

Now I thought this would be a really quick and easy card. I rooted through my stamps and came up with this combination of Stampin Up image and Inkylicious sentiment. I stamped them on buff card with Vintage Sepia Versamark and used the same cardstock for the base but it didn't look "enough". So I punched the square notches in the corner of each piece but they looked odd on their own so I added some brown twine around the notches. Still not right so I stamped them again and was going to layer them onto brown card before putting on the buff base but when I just placed them on the chocolate chip cardstock, they looked just right so that's what I've gone for.

Now to find something to do with the notched pieces!

I'm also entering this into the following challenges:
Time Out Challenges - CAS
Sister Act - Anything Goes

  12. Looks just right as it is to me, too. Love the buff colors and the vintage appeal of the old-fashioned bicycle. The simplicity of your design, the darker colors, let this nifty image take center stage. Very effective. TFS
