Bling It Up At Cuttlebug Mania
We've got a new challenge for you at Cuttlebug Mania and this time our theme is Bling It Up
I've used an X Cut Doily die on pearlescent paper and then folded it to make a fan. The pink card and butterfly are cut from Bazzill Bling cardstock and the tassle is made with embroidery thread

World Wildlife at Cardz 4 Guyz
Tuesday so time for another challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week it was my turn to pick the theme and I've chosen World Wildlife. Lots of scope for this - it gave me a chance to get an old CD out - Joanna Sheen's Animal Antics. The sentiment is computer generated and the black panel is embossed with one of Cuttlebugs Animal Prints embossing folder although it doesn't show well in the photograph
We'd love to see what you come up with for this challenge and don't forget your card can be for a male of any age

Torn Vellum
I was making a card using this sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch
But what I had done was too plain. I then remembered that the current theme at the Butterfly Challenge is J is for Jagged Edges. So I tore the vellum strip to give my edges. I've stamped the Stampin Up sentiment and embossed with Zing Teal Metallic embossing powder. I just love this as it's got a lovely sheen on it. The butterfly is from a Sizzix stamp & die set and embossed with the same powder

Ooh ooh ooh Miss Grace
Do you remember that song from 1975? It's what gave me the idea for my card when I saw the challenge at the Butterfly Challenge was Lace. I've used Tagxedo to create the butterfly with the words Satin, Perfume & Lace - I just love playing around with this programme. It's a card for a friends daughter who happens to be called Grace. Of course she wasn't even thought of when the song came out but she's always thought of it as her song. The letters were cut with my Quickcutz tool from snippets of pink card - they were quite small so had to use a post it note to get them in the punch so I'm taking this over to Pixie's Snippets Playground too
