Less Is More Mongram take 2

Once I'd put everything away from the last card, I decided to make another for the Less Is More Monogram challenge. The honeycomb paper is from Honey Bees download set by MyGrafico and the letter is cut with my Cricut Storybook cartridge. The bee and zzz stamps are gel.a.tins Little Critters and the mine comes from Perfectly Clear Tiny Alphabet

Less Is More week 20 - Monogram

Yes, the theme over at Less Is More this week is Monogram. Those girls keep coming up with such fantastic ideas to challenge us. I've had to get my card done this morning as I doubt I'd get it done otherwise as I'm away from Wednesday.

For my card I've cut the O with my Cricut using Base Camp and Stampin Up Chocolate Chip card and paper. The owl is a punch also by SU cut from the same papers and the branch is from the SU Two Step Bird punch. The inside reads "Owl always love you" and will go into my cards for the troops box.

Less Is More - In The Frame - Take Two

This is my second card for this weeks Less Is More challenge. I used Nesties to cut a hole in some scrap paper and also cut a smaller shape. These were layered on the card leaving a frame which I went over with my brayer using Big and Juicy Waterfall ink before removing them. The Lavinia fairy is stamped with a Brilliance Peacock ink pad. The colours of both pads go so well together and the Brilliance adds a lovely pearlescent sheen. Glamour dust was added to the fairy dust and her wings. The sentiment is from the Just Believe set by Stampin Up

Less Is More Week 19 - In The Frame

It's "one layer week" at Less Is More and this time it's In The Frame. For this card I've used the Stampin Up set Computer Quips which is just great for men. I've stamped it with Versafine Majectic Blue ink and used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the greeting. (Unfortunately, I've lost the sheet for the SAMJ but the packaging of Sizzix BigZ dies make two perfect replacements so a good excuse to buy more dies!). The card was finished with pricked corners

Less Is More Week 18 - Colour - Monochrome

It's Monochrome week over on Less Is More. I've decided to combine this with an anniversary card for my OH as we celebrate on Wednesday. I've used the Darkroom Door set Prague Vol 1. When I bought this set and used it for his birthday card last year he queried whether it was worth buying it for just one card. So his Christmas and Valentines cards were made with it too. So that's a full set now!

The image was stamped with Close to Cocoa and the Stampin Up Love was stamped in Chocolate Chip, then layered onto brown cardstock and a cream base to keep the monochrome theme.

Sketch N Stash 62

I made this card for two challenges. Week 62 at Skecth N Stash provided the layout and the theme for the  Crafters Reunited June Inspirationals is Girlie. The image is from Whoopsi Daisy coloured with promarkersand matted with nesties. The papers are a freebie from a magazine and I've used a Martha Stewart punch down the centre. Ribbon and flowers from my stash.

Less Is More Week 17

Week 17 over at Less Is More and the recipe is Pick a Square. This is my third attempt and it's not going to get any better. The image and sentiment is by Inkadinkadoo. The ice is covered in glossy accents and I couldn't resist added the ribbon although it does seem like a cheat!
