It's Tuesday so time for another challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz and the week we want you to feature something beginning with B on your creations. There is so much scope for this I'm sure we'll get lots of entries
I've made this for my OH's Birthday next month. It's a Kanban topper and I think the sentiment is just perfect. The backing is a lightly checked paper stamped with a beer glass from an old Stampin Up set
We'd love to see what you come up with for this masculine challenge

Take a Sentimental Journey At Cuttlebug Mania
It's time for another challenge here at Cuttlebug Mania and this time we want you to take a Sentimental Journey
This time we are sponsored by Crafty Sentiments Designs who have kindly given us the sentiments we have used on our cards as well as a prize for the winner
For my card I've used Joy Craft Swan dies. I've used the dies as a stencil and put Versamark on the swans then added some crystal embossing powder to highlight the embossed areas. I've also used the embossing powder on the edge of the frame (Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles) and the sentiment frame (Nestabilites)
I'm also entering this into the challenge at Less Is More which is Stencilling

Weekly Walking
This is a card for one of OH's friends who he goes walking with most Wednesdays - they always end up in the pub so I thought this was just perfect for him. I'm going to enter this into the Male Room challenge which is Add A Tag
Flowers at The Butterfly Challenge
The new Butterfly Challenge is "F is for Flowers". I've used a stamp set by Glitz Craft which comes with a matching stencil. The flowers are stamps and coloured with Prisma pencils and then the stencil is laid over and the glitter paste is used to highlight some of the image. The sentiment is by Stampin Up and the butterfly was left over from another project

Father's Day at Cardz 4 Guyz
Time for a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week our theme is Father's Day
I've not done a card but a book folding using one of Crafty Hana's patterns. I've coloured the edge of the folds with blue and black inks to make them stand out. The paper's inside the covers are from Papermania's Wellington collect which I've used Faded Jeans DI to make darker.
The cover is painted with a silver metallic paint over some cogs cut from scrap card. I've added some blue wax and some mixed gilding flakes randomly over the raised parts. Holes are cut with a Cropadile and the clock ribbon threaded through

More Sequins for the Butterfly Challenge
I'm trying to get ahead with cards in advance of my holiday at the end of the month. This is for a blogging friends daughter. I don't really know her so wanted to keep it quite simple. The stamp is Butterfly Fountain by Honey Doo Crafts and I've stamped it in lilac. I was looking for something to add to the swirls and came across this packet of flower sequins by Doodlebug. Gorgeous
colours but it wasn't until I looked closer that they are Halloween themed
The die cut numbers are stamped with one of my favourite flower stamps - Delicate Vines by Inkylicious
I'm entering this into the following challenges
Butterfly Challenge - Sequins
Pixie's Snippets Playground - Snippets (butterfly and numbers)
Addicted to CAS - Butterfly

Sequins at the Butterfly Challenge
This is my entry for the current Butterfly Challenge which is sequins. I've wanted to try this for ages even though I'm not a high heel kind of girl but the technique can be used for lots of shapes. I started with a high heel shoe from the charity shop bargan box - 99p for a brand new pair of shoes - obviously not very comfortable though
You cover the shoe with cling film folding and pressing it around the shoe shape and then cover with a few layers of cellotape and it looks like this
Next you have to cut the tape down the back, front and sides and ease it off the shoe. Once off, tape over the cuts and your left with a cellotape shoe
Left like this, they are fabulous with fairy lights in making them look like a glass slipper. But I've decorated mine with some book pages that were left over from a book folding project. I've then painted it with a translucent paint and filled with Kusudama flowers in black and white paper. I was going to put buttons in the centre of the flowers but decided I quite like the open look. The butterfly is made from a snippet of card and I've added sequins to the wings and body and then a row of sequins down the back of the shoe. So here's the result:
If you want to have a go, do a search for sellotape shoe and a Utube tutorial will come up. There's also a FB group called Sellotape Crazy (sticky moments) where you'l get lots of inspiration - thanks Darren. I used some really cheap tape from Wilkinsons at 20p a roll but it does loose it's stickiness so a layer of proper Sellotape as the last layer and it is fine
As the butterfly is from my snippets pile, I'm also taking this over to the Playground
I'm also entering it into the following challenges:
Allsorts - Flower Power
Crafty Time Challenges - Girls, Girls, Girls

Texture at Cardz 4 Guyz
Time for another challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week and Jane has chosen the theme of Texture
I've taken a piece of thick card and embossed the bottom part. Then I've made some lines with my glue gun before painting the card with a bronze metallic paint. I've rubbed some blue wax over the raised glue and the embossed part. The bottle tops are filled with some bronze embossing powder and melting, then the letters are stuck on before covering with clear embossing powder. This top layer reacted and peeled away from some of it giving a great distressed effect. The base card is then edged with blue wax before attaching the panel

We'd love to see what you come up with for this challenge
I'm also entering my card into the following challenges:

Bird Crazy at Cardz 4 Guyz
Our new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz is Birds so I had to use Tim Holtz Bird Crazy stamps - I just love these quirky birds. I've stamped and embossed the bird onto the main card and again on a scrap before cutting his out and colouring with Gelatos. The sentiment is from a set called Let It Be by Kirsty Wiseman. A very simple card but I love it
I'm entering my card into the following challenges:
Pixie's Snippets Workshop - Snippets
The Crafters Cafe - One For The Boys
Crafty Gals Corner - Critters
Mod Squad Challenge - Masculine

I'm delighted to say that I've joined the Sparkles Christmas Challenge design team for their monthly challenge.
Our theme for June is Christmas Animals. I've used an image from Giordano Studios Christmas Creations CD. The paper is from a pad I got in the Netherlands. It's beautifully glittered so I've kept the card quite simple with just a few die cuts for decoration
We are lucky to have two wonderful sponsors this month, our grateful thanks to
Di's Digis - Prize a $10 Voucher
And
Prize is this beautiful set of stamps
