Texture at Cardz 4 Guyz

Time for another challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week and Jane has chosen the theme of Texture

I've taken a piece of thick card and embossed the bottom part. Then I've made some lines with my glue gun before painting the card with a bronze metallic paint. I've rubbed some blue wax over the raised glue and the embossed part. The bottle tops are filled with some bronze embossing powder and melting, then the letters are stuck on before covering with clear embossing powder. This top layer reacted and peeled away from some of it giving a great distressed effect. The base card is then edged with blue wax before attaching the panel

    What a fabulous card!! I love the lines you made with your glue gun, what an amazing idea for adding texture! Putting DAD in the bottle caps is a wonderful detail, such a unique masculine card!!
