Less Is More - Butterflies take 3

Another butterfly card for the Less Is More week 16 challenge. I've been sorting out my ribbons and came accross this piece of trimming. The sentiment is stamped with galexy gold brilliance ink and embosssed with clear powder. The Spellbinders butterfly was cut from double sided sticky and coloured withgold and copper leaf - I really must use this more often as the effect is great in the flesh

Less Is More Week 16 Take 2

My second Less Is More card this week - don't you just love butterflies? The sentiment is from Stampin Up Butterfly Prints cut with a nestie and the vellum butterfly is the Spellbinders Reflections die. Ribbon from my stash.

Less Is More Week 16 - Butterflies

I'm sure the theme of Butterflies will have lots of entries at Less Is More this week. My aunt asked me to make a birthday card for her friend so two birds with one stone here.

I've used one of the Joycraft butterfly dies, the Stampin Up Beautiful Wings Embosslit and the Spellbinders Butterfly Reflections die all cut in lilac pearlescent paper with gems added.  I think the Spellbinder die will always be my favorite. I couldn't find a ribbon to suit it - they all looked too heavy so I've added a strip of lace using double sided tape then sprinked with glamour dust. The sentiment is from Sincere Salutations by Stampin Up!

Less Is More Week 14 - White On White

The Less Is More challenge this week is White on White. I think these cards look so elegant but I'm not over the moon with what I have done  and I've not got time to have another go so it will have to do. The base card was embossed with the Crafts Too dots embossing folder and the snowman is a cuttlebug cut & emboss set. The letters are Vintage Market Sizzlit strip. I've added a close up of the snowmans face as it doesn't really show in the main photo

Less Is More Week 13

I was stunned that one of my week 11 cards was showcased on the Less Is More blog - such an honour when they have so many wonderful entries. I also had some great feedback from Mandi and I remade the two cards and they do look so much better than my original. These ladies certainly know their stuff.

Week 13 - Lucky Dip is either Thank You or Congratulations. I've been playing on and off all day for this one and my bin is full! I was packing away as a bad job when I spotted my Thank You Kindly set by Stampin Up. As soon as I saw this sentiment I knew what to do so out came the Musical Note wheel (also by Stampin Up) pacific point inkpad and hey presto - all done
