It's the last challenge of 2013 at House Mouse & Friends and also my last one as guest designer. For this challenge you have to use gold or silver on your card. I've chosen silver and the image is from the House Mouse CD. I love these cute little micicles playing on the computer. The backing paper is from the same CD.The silver letters are embossed on mirror card using the Crafts Too Scrap Alphabet folder and the Yippee is from the Cuttlebug Friends folder - there are some great words to use on their own on this folder. A few gems and the card is finished
The challenge is open for 4 weeks due to the Christmas break so there is plenty of time to play along

It's beginning to look like Christmas at the House Mouse & Friends Challenge blog
Oops - I scheduled this post as I knew I wouldn't be home and I forgot to press publish so this is a little late going live
The girls at House Mouse have a great new challenge for you and the theme this time is Anything Christmas.
The image on my card is from the Winter House Mouse CD and matted onto red card. The backing papers were loose in my stash so I don't know the make. I've covered the join with some glitter card. The piece on the left is actually card and I've used my screw punch to make two holes and threaded ribbon through to tie the candy cane on. The snowflakes are cut with Elizabeth Craft dies using glittered card. I had to put them through the bug a couple of time but they cut quite well. The sentiment is from a little Helz Cuppleditch set called Santa's Workshop.
So why not pop over to the House Mouse blog to see what the other Design Team members have come up with. And don't worry that I'm late because you have plenty of time to join in - the challenge is open until Saturday 14th December

House Mouse & Friends Favourite Things
It's time for another challenge at House Mouse & Friends and this is my second project as Guest Design Team member and the challenge this week is Favourite Things.
It was a tough choice as there are lots of cute cat images on the CDs but I've chosen to use the owl decoupage from Joanna Sheen's Best Friends set. I've made an easel card so that the foliage extends above the card base. Various dies have been used to cut the pine cones and leaves all out of snippets of green and brown card so I'll be taking this over to Pixie's Snippets Playground. The sentiment is by Stampin Upand cut out with Stampin Up punches

House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge
I was chuffed to bits to be asked to be a guest designer for the House Mouse and Friends challenge. And then I saw the first of my challenges - Anything But A Card. Now I do like altered art but it tends to be a bit too grungy for the cute little meeses. Then I remembered this box that OH keeps his seeds in and decided it needed a makeover
I printed off some papers from the House Mouse CD from the In The Garden section and covered the box. There were lots of images to choose from but thinking about the original use of the box, I thought these catnip images were just perfect
I've made 4 tabs with card from cereal boxes covered with snippets of backing paper. The tops are cut with my envelope punch board. I've not put labels on the tabs yet as I don't know what OH wants
Some garden string tied around the top of the box and on the tag on the end
OH was very pleased with it but wants another one so he can keep the flower and vegetable seeds separate. And because I used snippets of backing paper for the tabs, I'm going to take this over to Pixie's Snippets Playground

House Mouse - Anything With Twine
The current challenge at House Mouse is Anything Goes With Twine and there's a great blog hop too.
I've used a cute image from the celebrations section of the CD - these cute little mice eating love hearts. The Cuttlebug folder I've used for the background is called Conversation Hearts from the Love Is In The Air set. I did originally emboss onto pink card but found it looked heaps better on the pale yellow. The pink and white bakers twine is by American Arts and I've wrapped it around the card and the cut a small heart from double sided sticky tape and wound the twine into a heart shape

Pumpkin Pie
I may have cheated a little with this image for the House Mouse Hey Pumpkin challenge as the image doesn't actually have a pumpkin on it. But when I saw these little cuties eating this pie from the Sweet Treats section of the CD, I immediately thought it was pumpkin pie. The pumpkin backing paper is by Pink Petticoat from the Happy Hauntings set. The pumpkin die is by Sizzix and I've added some shading to it with Dried Marigold Distress Ink and I've added a Marianne spoon die cut

Nuts About You
The theme at House Mouse Challenge this time is Monochrome. There are so many cute images on the House Mouse CDs that it's difficult to choose one but this little chap really appealed to me. I've used the decoupage elements to make a peanut backing paper to match the image. The flourish is a Marianne die and the greeting is computer generated and some paper flowers from my stash.

House Mouse Liquid Refreshments
The current House Mouse challenge is Liquid Refreshments. There are so many of these little micies that could be used for this on the CDs but I found this image on the Christmas/winter disc. There is a gorgeous matching paper but I must use some of the many papers I already have and this one is from the First Edition Love Letters pack. I'm pretty sure if I made 5 cards every day for the next 10 years I wouldn't be halfway through them so I really need to stop letting them jump into my basket. The tea cup and saucer is a Marianne die set and I've just added a ribbon, flowers and gems so another one for the charity box

Flying Mice
I love these cute mices from the Joanna Sheen House Mouse CD. They really look like they're having fun. For the background I've used a Stamposaurus leaf mask with Versamark through the design and embossed with pink crystal embossing powder - it's really glittery but it doesn't show well in the picture. Some ribbon and a Craftwork Cards sentiment to finish.
I'm entering this into the following challenges
