This is a card for one of OH's friends who he goes walking with most Wednesdays - they always end up in the pub so I thought this was just perfect for him. I'm going to enter this into the Male Room challenge which is Add A Tag

Puppy Love at Cardz 4 Guyz
Time for a new challenge at Cardz 4 Guyz and this week our theme is Puppy Love. Now, if you're of an age, this might remind you of Donny Osmond so you could show young love on your creation or go for the more obvious like I have done

Incy Wincy Spider at Cuttlebug Mania
It's time for another challenge at Cuttlebug Mania and this week we want to see your creations with a spider on
The image is sewn onto card and then matted onto black card. The cobweb at the bottom is embossed on black card with the Cuttlebug Spiders Web embossing folder and then brushed over with a Brilliance Moonlight White ink pad. This has a lovely sheen making it look silky but it doesn't show up in the picture. The three little spiders are from a Memory Box die. Originally they were going onto the black embossed card so I heat embossed them with clear powder but then decided to put them down the side
I'm also entering this into the following challenges:
Alphabet Challenge - Stitching
Fab n Funky - In Stitches, let's have a laugh - I hope this counts!
The Male Room - Halloween
We'd love to see what you come up with for this challenge and don't forget to let us know how you've used your manual machine

Male Valentine
There are still lots of Valentine challenges around so I've made this quick one for my charity box. As the cards go to the troops abroad we don't know when they'll get there so I don't actually put Valentine on them but love cards always go down well. It's nice that Sarah who organises the collection of the cards gets some lovely letters from serving soldiers saying how grateful they are.
Now onto my card. The backing paper is printed from Craft Artist. The Marianne Design Anchor is cut from blue mirror card and the computer printed sentiment is cut with a Stampin Up banners die.
I'm entering this into the following challenges:
The Male Room - Valentine
Die Cuttin Diva's - Non-Traditional Valentine (No red or pink)

Three D's
The challenge this week at CD Sunday is to make a card with Three D's - DL, Decoupage and Die Cuts. I really can't remember the last time I made a DL card so it was a challenge. I've embossed the ends of the card with the Cuttlebug Divine Swirls folder as I didn't want to add backing paper. The image is from The Best Of La Pashe 2012 and I';ve decoupaged the man, the alka seltzer and the pain tablets and layered it onto a snippet of blue card. The die cuts are from a balloon die (Die-namics I think) again cut from snippets to match the picture and embossed with the swirl die. The greeting is computer generated and cut with a Stampin Up banner die

Fox & Friends Take 2
When I did my card for the CD Sunday Fox & Friends I printed off two images from the Giordano's Christmas Creations CD so this little chap has been sat on my desk all week gradually getting buried by other things. He came to light this morning while I was clearing my desk so I decided to do a quick card with him following this layout at Seems A Little Sketchy
The backing paper is from the same set and I love the mix of soft blue and peachy brown on the design. It looks like a cold and frosty morning. The blue panel is embossed with a Cuttlebug folder from the Give A Hoot set and the peach one is embossed with Couture Creations Bon Jour folder. The three leaves are punched from snippets of card with n X-Cut punch which also embosses. The little acorn is from the Tim Holtz Autumn Gatherings decorative strip and I thought it made a good centrepiece for the leaves. A few gems to finish. I'm also going to put this over to the Snippets Playground as the gates are still open this week and entering it into The Male Room challenge which is Nature

Card For A Bus Driver
We don't have may buses in my village - 2 each way 3 days a week but Wednesday is market day in Ringwood and we have an extra trip. It comes from Lymington and goes straight up the main road so it only takes 12 minutes compared with 34 on the service bus. We've had a great driver - he is semi retired and just does some school buses and this market trip. He always makes us laugh and helps people on and off with their trolleys etc. Well yesterday was his last trip as he is retiring fully from next week so I wanted to make him a card to tell him how much he is appreciated. I've used this sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches
I've used a Forever Friends stamp from the Good Life Travel set which was perfect for him. I've coloured it with Promarkers. The papers are from the Forever Friends Good Life paper pad. The round sentiment is by Lily Of The Valley and I think the ticket stamps are by Kanban and I've added some red nail heads to finish. I'm also entering this into the first challenge at The Male Room which is Anything Goes
