Christmas Comes Early

I can't believe that I've made three Christmas cards in June! All made with the Wild Rose Studio Christmas CD which is great. You get loads of backing papers and digi images - both black and white and colour

Milton with Barrow

These are two of the cards I made for the Southampton Papercraft Show last weekend. The stamp is Milton With Barrow by Wild Rose Studio and both are coloured with Promarkers. The papers are WRS too. I used the Nesties but as the image only just fitted into the largest one, I've just off set the matching card.

Wedding Card for Musicians

I was asked by someone at work if I could make a wedding card for a couple of trombone players! Obviously I could make the card but the image was another thing. So a call for help on the forum and as usual Marjie came up trumps. Thanks Marjie - you're a star and of course, the recpients loved it

Chocolate for a Marathon Runner

I've made this for a friend at work how ran the marathon today using my new Woodware stamps. I couldn't resist this set when I saw them! Added some red stickles for bling.

Fox and Friends and Love Notes

I'm really loving using the Stampin Up Love Notes at the moment. These were made with the Fox and Friends stamp set form the mini catalogue. Stamped with versamark and brudhed with bronze Perfect Pearls.

Millie The Beggar

No I'm not being rude about her - just embarrassed! She sits outside the kitchen window of our Polish neighbours looking in and doesn't go until they have given her something. Normally it's a piece of Polish sausage which she doesn't eat but brings home through the cat flap. Today, she struck lucky with a masive slice of ham.


And then she came home and slept on her mat

until I disturbed her.

Mother's Day Cards

I didn't think I'd be making any Mother's Day cards this year but a friend at work asked me to make cards for her Mum and Mil. She gave me the images and verses and left me to it so I decided the make them as easel cards inspired by the very talented Bev

New Home Cards

We've had a lot of movement at work recently with three of my colleagues moving home.

The first is still my favorite (and I know I've shown it before but I love it)It was cased from a card I saw in a shop. I just new it would be perfect for the Stampin Up Good Neighbours set from thier Sale-a-bration which has unfortunatley finished:

This one is a cute cat image with computer printed greeting. I also cut the cat with a circle punch and put it on a bottle top and glazed it for an extra embellishment

This was for a horse loving colleague. Computer printed greeting and horseshoes. The image is decoupaged but it doesn't show.

Tart & Tangy Flower

I love the Stampin Up Tart and Tangy set of fruit stamps but as soon as I got it I thought flowers! I made this topper for a friend to show what I meant. I used the stem of the cherry stamp upside down and the flower is the lemon/orange slice which I've trimmed around the petals and shaped. The cute butterfly is from the Flight of the Butterfly set

PeeJay's Challenge

Pam has a great a challenge on her blog - to use one of her freebie sheets. There are some great sheets to choose from too but I couldn't resist this adorable black labrador with matching backing paper. I've made a criss cross card with a "gusset" to allow for the pyramage.
