Back Again for Less Is More Week 28

I've not done any crafting since my last post. It's so hard being in my craft room and not having Millie come in and plonk herself in front of me or jump up on my lap.

But needs must and I'm going to Greta's Guilford meet on Saturday and needed to get my shoebox cards done today. No inspiration at all so I thought I'd have a go at the Less Is More challenge which this week is a One Layer Card with INK. I've made three cards so I thought I'd put them in the same post as they are similar designs.

For the first I've masked off a strip of the card and used the Creative Expressions crackle mask and lightly dabbbed with Wild Honey distress ink. I've then used the giraffe stamp from Stampin Up's Animal Stories and the greeting from Curly Cute and stamped with the same ink. It's great that you can get so many shades with one ink pad.

The secons card uses the same technique but I've used the Crafters Workshop swirl mask and Fired Brink Ink. The flower and sentiment are from the Because I Care Stampin Up set and stamped with Aged Mahogony.

The third card is slightly different as I've stamped the totrtoise from Nature's Nest above the background section using Tea Dye. The background strip is done with the French Foliage set and Antique Linen and Tea Dye.
